The Ben10 car is a hand build chassis with a fibre glass '32 roadster body.
Its a 200cc Honda replica engine - car has working lights - cd player - proper disc brakes etc.
My boy is just a wee bit too young for it this year but will be hitting the roads next year.
Re Golf plans
Plans are full resto - everything refurbed and replaced - underside painted / powder coated.
I will be adding my own flare with a set of coilovers and nice wheels but anything i do decide to do will be reversible so if i choose i can revert back to show room original if and when i grow up
Car is blessed with a VERY mint original interior - none of the usual bolster wear or sagging and is a genuine campaign model.
I work on the car most nights and every weekend - will post up pics every time a make decent progress.
Thanks again

My brother in law fits in it and wanted to dress up as the stig and drive it round a local parade we have here every year.
But i had visions of it braking down - me at side of road trying to fix it and kids throwing stuff at me so i declined

My workshop is tremendous mate and i know i am Very Lucky.
Believe me i have done my fare share of lying under cars in the p***ing rain which makes me appreciate what i have even more.
Reading some of the build threads on here - guys working in barns , sheds and at the side of the house.. these guys are amazing and i take my hat of too them - big time !!

Hi Pete - tbh car is unbelivable rot wise. Very Very solid. Only area of rot are back arches and rear lower valance.
The sills passed an MOT but im going to change them aswell as they are a bit thin in places.
Off to pick up a KR engine this evening

Plans are fully rebuild and detailed KR on weber carbs
Hoping to make more progress tomorrow (family permitting)
