Would have thought there was enough illunination coming from the colour to light a small village!

Must admit i was sooo tempted to get a caddy, would be ideal for me to lug stuff around in, lack of rear seats to put kids sort of caused a issue.

The bloke who sprayed it did a shocking job of the bed so im gonna be stripping it out and redoing it in something like the plastic floor paint

I signed up the the caddy forum last night and said hello. Seem like nice people

Oh and its a 1.6 petrol (carb) but is pretty pokey… When its slammed and tweeked its gonna be mint… Lol.
Ill get some pics up of the bad points tonight after a bit of tinkering

lowered the caddy!

and on the weekend i finally found a set of minilites. they are slightly different from each other, the backs are a copy and have a different lip. i dont have pics of the wheels yet as im referbing them one at a time.
any way, heres wheel one being done…
the wheel as i bought it:

then i spent AGES with sand paper, nitro morse and a dremel and then primered it:

i let that dry and got the black on it:

while it was wet i managed to drop a rag on the top and put a small imperfection on the paint… which sucks. but its not that bad and as im referbing them for free i dont mind lol!
here is what it looks like now the masking tapes off…

just gotta polish the lip and thats one of four done
