Here she is...
My first 1.8 1989 Cab,
Needs a few bit and pieces doing such as a new hood (Im thinking blue mohair) and will put new rims on but undecided at the moment as to deep-dish or multi-spoke and cant make up my mind whether or not to change the grille to single lamps.
Interior is all original and after a scrub has come up like new and with no rips or worn patches but I still may change it for leather, if i can get hold of a whole interior cheap enough. Under the bonnet where the magic happens all seems OK, wants a new bonnet catch and maybe the filter changing in the K&N but as far a I can tell shes pretty sweet under there.
The engine has been changed at some point though as current engine number is different from that on some of the paperwork. The car is also on a Q plate as was imported to the UK in 1996. The Q plate thing seems to be a bit of a negative with regards to insurance.
All in all though Im well chuffed with it and just hoping I can can get all the work done in time for the MK1 Show in July
If anyone wants a look…

\'Check Your Nuts!\' My partner has just been through an operation and chemotherapy for Testicular Cancer and is only 29. He had no lump or pain, just became swollen… If in doubt, get to the doctor!

Thanks mate
Yeah for sure, I'll keep you in mind for the Drivers Seat if I manage to sort out Leather Interior.
