GTI resurrection...
I bought my 1983 Golf GTI in 2003 from a work colleague but have not used it since 2006 where it has been at my parent's house in Wales. It was stored in a garage for several years but has unfortunately been exposed to the elements over the past year or so. At Christmas I charged the battery and started it up without any problem at all and made a resolution that this would be the year to get it back on the road. First job is to get it clean and through the MOT.
