lol
goes back to the old, if you aint got owt good to say then dont bother!!
I like the look of this car, to some it may look shocking, but to others its cool
Well done for being individual..
at least it was saved from the crusher!!!
I prefer the rat look to the bling show n shine
No further modification from dropping in a huge engine, spraying a non standard colour etc etc
Each to your own, welcome aboard and well doen for kind of saving the car and being individual

Looks better than a lot of other rats. I like it something different, it was rusted in places anyway, might as well have some fun with it.

fair enough if a car has degraded over the years and rust is coming through in places etc, you buy it and get it on the road, lower it and stick some nice wheels on it - i'm all for that. i.e. if someone got this car running and then stuck it on a nice shiny set of RS and lowered it:
i just don't understand the 'sand paint off so it deliberately rusts' look, nor the addition of barrels, roofracks or removal of bumpers (not in this case).
although, in my eyes, it worked on one car, and one car only:
i think that's because everything else is so right on it, and 100% rusted looks kind of cool, still a shame though.

It looks ok, not the best rat and not what I'd do but it's still a Mk1!!
As for being saved from the crusher I think that's only a matter of time as when he loses interest in this it will be too much work for someone else to save…

LOL
Do you have MoT in Slovakia? The sills in the first (pre forced rat) post look like paint's flaking off, I guess there is terminal rot here and in other areas. So in that case, is it just a bit of fun before the MoT runs out? Or is it pretty lax for safety checks etc?
