Colours.....going for respray

Right, my white cabby is going for respray this week, im thinking of going for a white pearl.

Now i have options when it comes to pearl, i can have a straight pearl of i have the chice of a flip pearl, either blue, pink or green..

Have any of you fellow dubbers seen any of the above and thought "yes that works"?

white pearl sounds nice tbh dont get any metal flake as that will look gay :mrgreen:

What i meant was with pearl you can look at it straight on and looks straight white put you can also choose which colour it "flips" to as you walk round it.

Be it blue, pink or green…………..or leave it simply "pearl"

what about candy white the new passats had that colour it looks quite nice  

or just go the whole hog and paint it black :mrgreen:

I've seen a Beetle with the pearl / pink flip  8O  to be honest it looked good and it was hard to take your eyes off it but a bit girlly for me :dontknow:

I wouldn't flip it. I've never ever seen flip paint look good - and considering it pops up on barried superminis quite often, it doubles the reason I wouldn't touch it with a poopy stick…

I'd go for the more sensetive option - if you ever sell the car you narrow the prospective buyers by putting "marmite" paint on it…

Straight pearl.

i like the pearl with a very subtle flip, was looking at a caddy at a show not so long ago that had a real subtle green flip, looked awesome..

Nicky off here has a white cabby with glitter paint and that gets a lot of attention..

Doing any of the work yourself??

Ive fitted the crystal headlamps, clear indicators and simple stuff but my skills are severely limited to say the least. When it comes to bodywork its got to be left to the pro's….

Its my first ever project and its proving to be soooooo addictive………


Next stop 20v turbo conversion and some BBS RM's, i know there done to death but i dont think any wheel suits a golf drop top better……
