My Rivage Restoration
I bought the car a few months ago and the plans are to fully restore it then just use it as a summer weekend car.
Here are some pics a few days after I had it.
The interior is A1 but I do have plans for it.
When I bought it I knew the roof had 2 little rips which I could have lived with for a while but it wasn't long till they got worse so as soon as I got some money I had a new blue mohair roof and black headliner fitted courtesy of jack smith trimmers in swansea.
Im really happy with the job they did and there prices are fantastic.
Fellow member chortle read that I was having the roof done and sorted me out with a new inner lining that goes between the roof and headliner which was fantastic quality (cheers mate)
Here are pics of the new roof.
As we had some nice weather today I gave the car a quick wash.
At the moment the interior is the blue cloth but I've got the car booked in for the first week of december to have a full re-trim in cream leather and new carpet. That's going to be all the work done to the interior.
Future plans are to get the wheels re-polished then late next year its going to a classical car restorer to have a bare metal respray in the original colour and fully resealed underneath. I'll also be replacing all the lights, badges, side trim ect with me ones.
That's it for now.

Glad I could help you.
I rang your hood fitters and he said the interliner was perefect.
He was really pleased with the fit and the fact it was spot on.
He has said if he needs another he will contact me.
It is really a good idea to replace the interliner as they are usually shot, they really deteriorate and it means that the rubberised padding gets worn against the roof and that too wears.
Plus it keeps the moisture, muck etc out of the padding too helping to prolong the paddings life.
I am selling these interliners for around £50.00 inc postage.
The new hood looks great too, I had a long chat with the bloke and I asked him where he got the hood from and he told me he made it himself.
All you need now is some sunny hot weather…
This was the state of a interliner when we took the hood off.
You can see how bad they get.
This is what they look like and how the padding fits.

Hopefully he will take some off your hands in the future.
Going onto another topic…does anyone have a picture of a rivage with the cream leather that's in good condition?
I'm having mine re-trimmed soon and I got to go pick what shade of cream I want and I want to get it as close to the original as I can.

Does anyone know if the door speaker pods and inside handles were black or cream on the rivage?

No reason if you wanted too, you could leather wrap the door pulls though etc.
