Dear website bods,
I am maybe being thick but I can't seem to get the spell checker to work when sending PM's or replying to posts in the full editor. When a word is spelt wrong a red line will appear which if right clicked on it will give usually the correct spellings. All I get however in the full editor and PM is just the option to paste and nothing else when i click this red line.
Is this a fault or am I doing something wrong??
Cheers

The same here, so I just write it in MS Word then Paste it into the post for what it's worth.
Same on an Andriod but I will have to check on my MacPro.

Mods can this be looked into then if more than one person is experiencing the same problem?

The checking of spelling is 100% browser controlled and has nothing to do with the sites software. I have tried various browsers on Mac and Windows and the spell checking works in all cases for me.
What I need you to do is tell me the operating system and browser version combinations that you are using. Please make sure that you are on the latest browser version as well.

Hi,
Right now I understand what is going on.
I do not use the WYSIWYG editor and you guys must be - spell checking works fine when this is disabled.
I will ask why it doesn't work later.
However for now, you can disable it and re-enable it to suite or with it enabled click the "source" button to do the spell checking and click it again to revert - not ideal I know.
The disabled WYSIWYG mode is what the old site use to give you - to be honest the WYSIWYG mode is not the best and I know they are working on improving it.
