Problem with editing text before sending a post or comment.

Is anyone else having problems when trying to use "Emoticons" or trying to put spaces between lines of text using the "Full Editor"?
Out of interest.
I'm finding that when I review or post a comment the text tends to become bunched together, like one continuous line of text.
I've tried using double spaces and double or triple 'Returns' to have the sentences normally spaced out but some of them again become one continuous line.
Sometimes I put an 'Emo' at the end of a sentence and tends to make things worse! Take a look at some of my resent posts and you will clearly see this in action.
Doesn't matter which 'Browser' or 'OS platform' I use, the results tend to be the same.
For example Win 7 or 8, using I.E 8 or 9, Google Chrome.
Android using the built-in browser and Chrome.
MAC OS Mountain Lion using Safari and Chrome.
Has anyone else experienced this or am I just the unlucky one?
I spend more time trying to edit the layout of the post (before posting it) than I ever do writing it.
Seems to happen when replying to posts as opposed to starting a new one.
Did not happen with the old website.
Thanks for looking into this.
Mike.

i get this using IE8 but its only on the full editor
you press enter to paste something on a line below, but it will paste it [here]
[instead of here] for example
then leave the black line underneath so when you start typing
it leaves a gap
Hope that made sense

The full editor has one or two issues that will apparently be sorted out in version 10 (We are one version 9.0.4 now).
I click the disable WYSIWYG link and save that preference on my computer when it asks. You then get icons similar to the old site for adding emotions, links, pics etc. Also once you know the tags codes you can just type them straight in as text.
Kenno and myself were talking about making this the default.
