I'd 700 odd points in total because of my site activity pre-change over.

If I've read the rules correctly having 150 points permits you to advertise in the classifieds (Unless you pay an annual £5 to advertise or £20 to become a paid member in which case your number of points are irrelevant).

Unfortunately I've also been a bit liberal with my point gambling and squandered all but 2 (A valuable lesson, never gamble!)

I notice my overall point score hasn't dropped along with my losses, does this mean I can advertise without having to build up 150 points again?

Where are you seeing your overall points score not dropping with your losses?

I have just tested this again and gambled and lost a certain amount of points which reduced my point score

As far as i understood it anyone can use the classifieds providing they meet one of the following.

1. Paid to advertise.
2. Have over a certain amount of points - Doesn't have to be a member, just a registered user.
3. Are a fully paid member.

Im probably completely wrong!
