Pictures dont show up

This is starting to wind me up now, theres pictures in threads but all im seeing is a box with a ?.

I know the links are fine as I can view them on other devices.

I cant view ANY pics on my build thread which renders it useless.

Any ideas why its happening?

I have this with my android also. Very frustrating!

What browser are you using Norm?

Have you tried right clicking over the pic and selecting "show picture". It could be your browser security settings??

I've got a feeling this is something to do with photobucket as I've had this on my own android phone.  Had a search around and loads of sites are reporting the same thing with photobucket pictures.

this thread has images hosted my imageshack and works fine on mobile.

halfway down the page the user has switched from photobucket to imageshack and on mobile the first pics i can see are from 4/10/10, this is the start of the imageshack pictures.  The user swaps back and forth between the two hosting companies and the blue question marks come and go accordingly.  

From googling the problem seems to be something to do with photobucket changing their software and not working with some mobile devices from what I can see, but i'm no expert, especially with mobile phones!

There does appear to be an issue with some Android devices and Photobucket and the chrome browser - the advice seems to be switch to the Opera browser

Just checked my build thread on my laptop and NONE of my pictures show up. Double checked some of the links and there all good.

Another problem is, when I go topics that I posted in, it only displays a small amount of topics.

Also my build thread wasnt in there for some reason.

It appears that every image that you have entered has a double set of image tags surrounding it, the old software must of ignore them but the new one is much stricter. I have fixed them up to and including page 4. Find a post that has image errors (http://vwgolfmk1.org.uk/forum/index.php?page=topicview&id=your-mk1-golfs_2%2Fmy-rivage-restoration&start=80) click the edit button, disable the wysiwyg mode and change

Topic that you posted in only shows the last 60 days. Go to the normal search, put in your username and make the period n/a to see them all.

As you are no longer a paid member your will not see your members lounge posts.
