New post order

On the old forum when you hit the "new posts since last visit" all new posts were arranged in time order with the most recent at the top to the oldest at the bottom.

Now with the new forum they seem to be in any old order. Is there a way to change this or is it a forum quirk??

Seems to display all pinned posts before new posts despite not having new posts.
