where is everyone?
i`m from London and have seen countless mk1`s around the place but never a `was it you` on here from anyone north,south,east or west london.so is there any one from london registered on here?

I would imagine there are loads Zampa, i am not sure if you can see map or need to be a paid member (only £15 a year with numerous benefits) , but there is a map which shows all the paid members on it and there location

I do find it strange that there are so many golfs seen and reported here with no reply. If you're going to own a classic car you would have thought you would check out its on-line club if only out of interest, let alone support, comradeship through the hard times etc etc. :dontknow:

i live in west london (well near heathrow ish) and recently seen a few mk1's which i should post up,
see loads of rag tops but they dont intrest me as they are far to common.
so ill post up my two most recent tin tops now.

I was in a pet shop the other day getting some supplies and I happen to overhear a Dad discussing with his daughter whether they should buy a Gerbil or a Rabbit. She wanted the Gerbil but her Dad came up with the killer argument to get the Rabbit. After acknowledging how cute the Gerbil was her said "why don't we get the Rabbit, honey? Pound for pound it's much better value for money".
Until the above "rag tops" statement, buying pets by the pound was the daftest reasoning I had ever heard but this beats it hands down.
