Bugjam

I know most people here were over at the agm and cant blame you the photos look like it was a cracking weekend! I was at bugjam the same weekend and there was a good showing of mk1's there! dont no if many people use the forum or not but stupidly i didnt have any cards with the oc web address on them.

There were 2 rat look blue mk1's camping near us, a black gti drove past me with the owners club sticker in it, a red gti was camping near us too and there were a couple entered in to the show n shine….





any one else wanna own up to not being at the agm?  

the blue one is dales which is local to me and the black one is drews who we were with. he was on the strip on saturday but his launch still needs perfecting. we were in club camping and all in mk1s. some were not even allowed to mention on here lol.

I ended up at BugJam too due to last minute change of plan by group I was with, saw a fair few nice MK1's about. I took my own and was happy for it to receive a few compliments over the weekend.

Only downside was crashin about 3 mins outside of Santa Pod on the way home on a sharp right hander and havin to get dragged home by the AA! Hub and strut damage from impacting the curb…bad end to a good weekend!

Sad times Roscoe not too bad to fix I hope.

Mine shat itself royally on Thursday evening so I had to bum a lift to Bugjam, but we ended up camping next to a derv ratty blue 3 door, a fairly tidy blue 3 door with chequered roof and a mint 5 door brown chrome trim jobbie - good lads!

Ah cool didn't get much chance to venture into club camping really as we were over the other side with other mear commoners in standard camping lol was a great weekend tho such a shame I guess its always gonna clash with agm!

The VW Badge on the grill is quite worn, all the chromes come off and now looks black.

didnt see tht lorry, but saw the flat bed camper van with a dodge viper engine in it!  8O

yeah thts the one! made me wonder if it was actually running or not tho because surely if you owned tht u'd have to take it for a spin down the 1/4!!
