Unusual Under Bonnet Storage Box For MK1 Golf...

Currently on eBay.de, thought it might interest someone.

Fits in the space behind the scuttle panel on the drivers side, seems to be intended for jump leads or snow chains etc.

That's different, like that, have asked if they will ship to the UK :-)

Be a shame to tamper with it but it might make a good weather proof compartment for extra fuses / ECU / modern alarm etc. without taking away from the original look of a MK1…

I thought it was one of those silly little items that would go for a lot more than that.

But three years ago I bought a brand new original VW mudflaps fronts for a Mk2 here in Austria.
Starting bid was €1 so I put a bid on just to see what happened and I won them all boxed up for the €1.
The guy lived in Vienna, we met I paid him so there was no postal charges. He was expecting them to go for a lot more than that!  

There was nothing I could spot in advert about shipping to the UK, messaged the seller and got no reply, shame as would have liked it :-(
