In my relentless search for all things MK1 Golf + 'Zender', this turned up on the Japanese Yahoo auction site which previously meant it was impossible to bid, however I've also found an intermediary company who will now bid on your behalf.
They charge a percentage of the winning bid plus there are Japanese sales taxes / UK import duties together with postage to take into consideration however if you want it badly enough at least it's now possible to get it.
1500 Yen is approx GB£8.80

I was momentarily tempted but my car's a S2 so not much use to me… Posted it up in case someone else might have wanted it.
