Shocks and lowering springs front- coilovers rear?

Is it alright to have shocks and lowering springs on the front and coilovers on the rear. Or will the stiffness difference cause my car to be in-balanced ?

I have a set of rear springs and shocks for sale if your interested?  I know a few guys run it the other way round, coils up front, and lowering springs in the rear. A pretty good compromise of stance, handling and comfort.  As far as direct handling goes, as far as i know softening the rear, and stiffening the front reduces oversteer, and stiffening the rear, whilst softening the front reduces oversteer.  (this is my undertsanding of it anyway)

Yeh Ive just brought some shocks and lowering springs to replace my coilovers only problem is I now have rubbing on the rear arch. So was thinking of just putting the rears back to the coilover set-up.

You saying the stiffening the rear also reduces oversteer?

Keep telling myself that mate, its hard to go low and slow in a 20vt though. Gonna change the rear springs for 30mm's think that should just be enough

Sorry my bad, stiff front reduces under steer, stiff back reduces oversteer i think
