I have not got the sizes but they do look like rear springs.

Is there any paint markings on them, like 2 green strips?

Yes there is 3 yellow marks but is looks like it was drawn by a brush???

There is a mention here about 3 yellow strips being from a tintop GTi.
Those markings in the picture are what VW would of painted on with a brush.
try googling mk1 golf springs 3 yellow.
