mk3 polo gear linkage help

i know its not a mk1 golf question but im sure someone can help me. my gear linkage on the mk1 is broke.

can anyone tell me where i can get the parts to fix it?

Have you tried a VW dealer?
VW heritage, ebay, a Polo forum….

vw dealer is miles away and the car is off the road. i have tried ebay but couldnt find anything.

i posted on the polo forum but someone just said ebay or VW dealer.

i will try vwheritage now  

aparantly it is a polo mk2 & 2f gt linkage

it seems like there are parts missing though? can anyone clarify?

I don't know much about Polo's and what year your's is but this site might help as you can find a drawing and part numbers for the linkage.

smallblock mk1 have similar setup to the polo, never seen one myself so i cant say if what you have is standard or not? if it was me id confirm if its mk1 or polo, if polo throw it all in the bin and buy smallblock mk1 stuff
