GTI caliper slider pins

Does anyone know how to fit the standard 239mm GTI calipers slider pins correctly? I bought a kit from VW Heritage and I'm struggling getting the white plastic sleeve into the rubber boot, when I put the pin in the plastic insert moves. Thanks in advance!
