Probably an odd question but is the suspension on a cab the same as the tin top?
Only asked as it's sometimes listed seperately and the roof mech on a cab seems much heavier than the roof of a tintop.
Obviously, this could all be complete balls and I'm effectively farting from my mouth but a nudge either way would be appreciated

Cabriolet spring should be different as the car is heaver than a tin top, same fitment as tin top.
A lot of places/manufactures do list them differently but I guess for things like fully adjustable coilovers it does not matter.

shell wise the fitment is the same as mentioned, plus the cab is more heavy duty. Its mostly the same apart from that but some parts changed early to late, for example the lower spring cups changed diameter at some point

Yeah,
Was fine with that, just wondered if the springs and shocks would be noticeably different.
The cab has non adjustable weitecs, was toying with the idea of putting them on yoda.
While you're here rub, reminds me that I've got a stereo question put I'll post that seperately

coolio so worst case if you swap over a complete package the car will sit a bit higher, or a bit lower depending which way you go. if they're adjustable height then no worries you should have enough to get the height you're after
I was scuppered on my cab as i bought some NOS VW bare rear shocks, but the lower spring cups I had were too big to fit properly. I ended up just buying another set, but made sure the lower spring cups were included that time

Think I'll suffer with the eBay hobbies over the winter and fit new early next year (always been a weitec slag but prefer the coilovers).
Cheers for the help
