BBS RS Centre Caps/Waffles not sitting flush

As the title suggest, my RS centres don't sit flush on the face, one side seems to always be raised, is this common?

They have been freshly painted grey, could it be a thick paint causing this?

I will try and get some pictures this evening to better illustrate this.

In my experience it's the wheel bolts. I had to grind a few mm off the heads on mine.

Thanks for the reply Jayc, i will bear that in mind, although i was finding it without the bolts even on! Having said that last night I had another play around and got them to sit flush, think i just had to be a bit more forceful
