Thinking of upgrading my wheels
Im looking at diving in and getting some bbs alloys for my MK1 golf Gti. I always said I'd stick with the Tarantula alloys but the car is being painted later the year and I'm looking at icing the cake as well!!
Ive found these on ebay -
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/304495266037?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3Ddcfd42a4588b45a8abd1a86050a5bef1%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D304495266037%26itm%3D304495266037%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2380057%26brand%3DBBS&_trksid=p2380057.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3A2a18ec9e-daa8-11ec-9e65-a6558976f8da%7Cparentrq%3Af169066a1800aaf280bf06bcfffb0c0a%7Ciid%3A14
will they fit? they are BBS RZ 433 6Jx15 GOLD - 4x100 what tyres would they need and do the fit, I'm assuming so but wanted to check with the experts?
Also I found theses from the same seller -
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/304495266020?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3Ddcfd42a4588b45a8abd1a86050a5bef1%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D304495266037%26itm%3D304495266020%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2380057%26brand%3DBBS&_trksid=p2380057.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3A2a18ec9e-daa8-11ec-9e65-a6558976f8da%7Cparentrq%3Af169066a1800aaf280bf06bcfffb0c0a%7Ciid%3A14
These are BBS RZ 347 6,5Jx14 - 4x100 I don't understand what is the difference with the 433 & 347 is this the model? obviously these ones are wider but also don't appear that they have centre caps and come like this? am i right they are missing the centre caps. Also what size tyres?
thanks in advance guys, just want someone with more experience than me before I waste my money.
Andy

For the 15" 195/55 15 would be the 'standard' tyre size to keep the rolling radius the same.
Not sure on the 14" 6.5J

Worth checking Alloy Wheel and Tyre Fitment Calculator. Offset, Tyre Stretch and Speedo Error | Will They Fit to see if the offset (ETxx) will cause any major issues. The 15" wheels with the ET45 offset will sit inboard (by 8mm) of OEM 14" wheels which are ET38. I've got some ET45's to go on my car, and they still clear the caliper, but that would be the only concern. You can fit spacers if you wanted to (will be the subject of my next post!). the 14" are ET30 so they would be 8mm more outward.

Thanks for this. I have had a look and they look good to go. Just need to find out what type of bbs are best. It's a mine field.
