82 MK1 GTI - Brake Overhaul Kit

Hi All

Currently looking for a brake overhaul kit for an MK1 golf GTI (1982).

There are 2 separate kits with the only difference being the cylinder size (depending on whether the car has a brake pressure regulator kit or not).

Would anyone be able to tell me whether my model golf has a brake pressure regulator kit ?

It should have because GTIs of that era had the brake pressure regulator. BUT there's one way of knowing 100%, and that's to look underneath to confirm. Its just in front of the rear axle beam, on the left. After all you never know what mods etc have been done in the past.
