Which adaptors to use
Hi all,
I'm slowly getting all the bits and pieces together and would appreciate your knowledge and advice. It's my first Mk1 ('85 Cabby) and so I'm finding my way through mainly via the internet. So far I have G60 callipers and carriers, G60 disks, pads, and Goodridge brake hoses. I also have a 9" servo and the 22mm M/C. I'm planning un running 15" 944 wheels with adaptors/spacers.
The most important question is regarding the adapters for the calliper fitting. There are a few different sorts out there from cheap ebay ones to expensive at all sorts of prices and opinions are varied. I'm swayed towards the caddy ones but if you have used any which you feel are good I would be grateful for your advice. Then there is the matter of the shields, shall I re-use these or not? Opinion seems divided. I presume that its wise to replace the bearings while I'm at it?
I can then start thinking about the rears.
Thank you. Madds
