Will Pierburg Carb from 1.3L work on 1.8 Car?

hi i was hoping to use my friends Pierburg Carb from his 1.3 Golf 85 model on my 1.8 engine golf cab mk1. My piergurburg may need parts i can mybe salvage off his one. it is a 2E carb. Oh any my car is auto transmission. And for anyone that wants to know my car just idles at 3k RPM on PARK but when i select Drive the revs drop to normal leve.. any ideas?

The 1.3 carb will not have the correct jets to supply enough fuel for a 1.8 and would make it run lean.

 

What if I replaced the jets from my 1.8 carb as I only recently put new jets in there

If they are the same model and size of pierburg  that should work. but i am thinking his is a 2e and yours a 2e2?
