My downpipe has started to split just before it meets the middle section. I would like to stay standard and was looking for any advice/recommendations for a good quality replacement.
I've seen this on eBay:

or this on VWH
https://www.vwheritage.com/shop/161253091C/front-pipe-mk1-golf-cabriolet-scirocco-gti-mode/
Has anybody used either of these or have other suggestions? Should I fit it myself or get my local exhaust centre and let them deal with the manifold bolts?
Thanks.
Matt.
