Hi guys,
I have a late cabriolet lift pump but noticed the strainer doesn't look very clever and has a hole in it. Can you buy the strainer separately? I have a vdo pump, part number 357906092c.
Cheers
Rich

Do I just need to replace the whole pump as this is not available separately?

Have you tried calling a VW dealer?
The last lift pump I bought did not have a filter on the end so had to reuse my old one so just make sure if you do have to buy a complete pump that it does come with the filter.
