I've recently bought a mk1 Cabriolet with various problems, one of them being fuel pressure (It's got the 1.8 k-jet engine from a mk2 GTI).
I've bought a new genuine fuel pump but it turns out it fits into an external 'swirl pot'. Would I be able to have some assistance with pipe routing etc?
It's got the following..
A main high pressure feed directly from the pump
An inlet and an outlet on top
A quick release connector
Does any body know how they are piped up or knows any useful info?
Thanks in advance, I would love my cabby running!

You can buy the swirl pot but it's expensive for a plastic pot!

There should also be a lift fuel pump in the fuel tank?
Thats a fancy garage you have there or is the car being looked at a proper garage?

Thanks chap, I'll have a look tomorrow. The car is on a ramp at work, and its actually a truck workshop so I'm very fortunate!
EDIT: I have already bought the swirl pot and the pump, just need to work out the rest. The engine had previously been fitted but everything around it very poorly.
