Custom Stainless Exhaust?

Hi,

I am currently looking into getting a stainless steel exhaust system made for my Mk1 Cabby GL.

I wondered if anyone could recommend anywhere they have used or whether this is the best option to go for?

Ive had a couple of quotes from two different places and looking at  a figure of about £350.00 including fitting and VAT.

Haywood & Scott do really good exhausts. Not seen one on a MK1 but I think they build for anything.

They'll custom make it to sound how you want too - even specifics like nice and raspy when you boot it, but quiet when you're cruising.
