Adding something in parallel isn't the answer and your temps for both will be off.
Ohm wrote the law, don't blame me ya just can't break it.

I know I may not get a reply to this as it's nearly 5 years old. But I'm in the same situation and need to run a temp wire to the vdo but where from? The filter housing is taken up with the pressure gauge…. Should I use the sump plug?
Just wondering what alternative port you used

I used a T split piece under the pressure sensor in the end, I can try and get a photo if you need it.
