No spark

morning guys please assist my car it doesn't give a spark/start but when we do kick start it start so I don't know what might be the problem, and I have tried to check were is the module I couldn't get the location in the bonnet, and tried to check on the dashboard, model of the car is 2006 1.4 carb please assist I don't know much about cars, mechanic tried to change distributor and coil but still experience the same problem, spark comes and then sometimes no spark in the car, then to start I will need man power
