Stereo loom

Hi took my dash out from my mk1 caddy as stereo not working and wasn’t even connected and had no loom by the look of it, certainly no speaker wires. What was the method of installing a harness ? I can do the stereo bit just need something to plug it into, 😊it has had a pd130 engine swap at some point

Well when I finally replaced my VW premium unit it had the CD changer.  I bought a Blue tooth Media player, as I had converted over to SD cards most of my albums, as
well as Apple Play.  I however made sure that it was good for my Apple I Phone and had an External MIC .  I placed the microphone to the (right side on yours) Left of my clocks above the side vents, then modified my  headlight switch fascia so I could route the Mic cord up without a fuss as my 90 didn't have movable vent wings, it was out of direct wind, and at 80 mph with the top down I enjoyed the tunes, and could carry on conversations wonderfully.

Sound good,  👍 have no dash loom though nothing in there at all, so wondering which one to get, assuming the need a live from battery that goes onto a harness and gar o then add my stereo loom too ? 

Most newer stereo's have a switched B+ and a live B+

I have taken the Live B+ from the Cigarette Lighter, and the Switched from the Defroster.
