Temp gauge n fuel gauge not working
I have a s1 golf with a g60 fitted to it. My fuel gauge had been working but is now not moving. My temp gauge is also faulty.

That usually is the 10V stabilizer on the rear of the Instrument cluster. Verify that you have good 12v+ and ground connections to it, and the cluster then replace.
it is a lm7810 voltage regulator that you can order from a good parts supplier.
They are like 34 dollars USD from the dealer or parts supplier or a buck or two at a electrical vendor
I usually look for a fairchild KA7810-AET if you search on ebay or amazonia for 7810 voltage stabilizer you will find plenty of hits.
Here is some from the Netherlands.

If you order one get 4 or 5 as they can be bad from the getgo. 5 are as cheap as 1-or-2.

Still has a 10V stabilizer on the back side of the cluster.
