Rear bulb holder contact

For the rear sidelight bulb the metal behind it is lifting away and if I press it back down it makes contact and works, is this a common problem and if so has anyone fixed theirs before? I was planning to have a go with solder maybe

If you can see it lifting in this pic, if I press down as in second pic the bulb works 

that looks altho the spring bit of metal in the rear of the 2nd pic isnt pushing the bulb up enough to make a good contact

thats why when you press down in makes contact

try tweeking it up a bit

Ahh I see what you mean, will give that a try and let you know it works thanks!

also give the back of the bulb and also the springy bit it makes contact with a little rub with sand paper or wire wool just the clean the mateing surfaces for a better contact

 Worked perfectly! Chuffed with that as they don't make those holders anymore

sometimes its the simplest of things
