Random LED in main headlight

Has anyone seen this before? I just found a random LED wired into the headlights.





I don't see the point. They're very low power so you can barely see them.

Ugh, more butchered wiring

Only seen those in Aftermarket "Projector" lamps.

Butchery doesn't describe those electrical connections.

Twisted wires with tape are usually what we call Fire-Starters over here.

I only use scotch locks for the adding a ground behind the cluster. Never under the hood or near anything that may get wet. LOLOLOL..

On the other side, the wires are soldered into the connector. FFS
