Anyone know where to get a replacement for the plastic ring that covers the ignition?

It comes as part of the ignition lock assembly.

You could tape yours off and clean it then spray it with Krylon Fusion Satin Black….
Or just glue it in place with JB-Weld Plastic mender epoxy (black) place the Cracked side down.

Thanks, a new cylinder was quite cheap but might just glue it down as suggested

Be careful, as the inside or key has to turn inside of the collar…..just keep the glue on the outer collar of the switch assembly and away from the inside, I suspect you could use a piece of Cellophane tape around the chrome piece that is the lock cylinder to keep glue from getting in to it, as you can remove it after you have let the glue harden……
