Hi
I'd like to add an oil pressure gauge when I install my rebuild DX engine. As far as I know the oil pressure should not exceed 5 bar under normal operation, but might do so with a cold engine. Would anyone recommend the 10 bar gauge?

I run 20w50 in my Cabriolet, and at start cold it pegs at 5bar, but as it warms it goes down to normal operating pressure as the Oil Temp goes up and the Car gets warmed.
Diesels would need a 10 or greater, but not Gassers.

Yub, 5 bar should do fine it will nearly max it on cold starts but gives a better reading when normal operating.
