Hi my rear wiper doesn’t work I’ve WD40 the mechanism but nothing. Rear washer jet is fine.
It has a fuse (haven’t pulled it as was awkward to do so with the box in place, but noticed the far left relay is missing.
However when I check the wiring diagrams this doesn’t seem connected to rear wiper circuit. So I’m a bit confused. Also should that other relay but smaller and metallic, not black and plastic like the others?
Thanks

I would check the fuse first for the wiper. Then I would check the rear wiper motor itself with power to make sure it does work. I would also check the wiring through the body/tailgate to make sure it's not broken. It could even be the column switch. It's a case of taking each part and checking.

No rear wiper - missing relay?
Vic thanks. The fuse is good. But I suspect the wiring at the top of the tailgate where it goes into the roof as it looks like it’s been repaired before I think. So I tried the rear windscreen heater with ignition on but engine off and although the dash switch light is on, no heat.
I therefore think there’s no power goes no to the tailgate.
But you did mention testing the rear wiper motor. What’s the best way to do that?

You can use a power probe. Old fashioned way, at your own risk, electrics and sparks! . Use the battery to connect two wires to the live and earth respectively and see if it works.
