I've not been on here for years, with Facebook taking over the internet, but Facebook groups are pants and forums are the future!
Anyway, I need to wire up a rev counter in my mk1 Jetta project. The car originally had a 1.3 in it, and therefore no rev counter. I have thrown in a 9A from a Rado with twin 45's, using am H&H ignition solution rather than running the original ECU and Ignition module.
The clocks I am using are mk1 GTI (as far as I know) and have a single plug.
I have searched on here and seen that I need a feed from the negative of the coil to the clocks, but will this need in the loom already? If so what wire an I looking for, and what pin on the clock plug is it to?
If I need to wire a new wire in; again, what pin on the clocks plug an I looking for?
Or am I completely in the wrong place for what I need?
