MFA clocks

Been searching the forum and Google with no answers so hopefully someone can help.
I pulled a dash and loom from a 88 cabby gti to fit in my caddy (along with the gti engine).
When I pulled the clocks out I didn’t realise there were two wires going to it and they pulled out from where ever they go. Could anyone tell me 1. What are they for and 2. Where should they be plugged into.
Also for some reason when full beam is on the blue light does no come on however when they are off it does light up. From what I read the blue/white wire on the clock plug controls this now there are chock blocks on them but the wires are intact. How could I solve this

Does the brown/red wire 'jump' to illuminate the bulbs due to a poor maylar connection?? How were your bulbs before taking it out??

MFA clocks
Tbh I didn’t take any notice as it was a doner car all I know about the dash was that when full beam was on the dash light wasn’t and full beam off dash light was on
