HELP! Red/yellow wire Fuel Pump

Settling In
I'm replacing the fuel pump, and I want to know which wire is positive and which is negative.
I'd like to double-check whether the old one was in the correct position.

You too could become one as the Bentley or Haynes wiring diagrams spell it out , Groung is at the bottom, and voltage or + is at the top of the pages.
I started reading British Leyland wiring diagrams and Schematics at the ripe age of 13, rebuilding my 58 (Frog-Eyed) Sprite, I graduated from English to Japanese, American, then VW,
Plus I tend to over think as I worked in computers since the Mid 70's.
Your best friend is a DVOM.

I have the Haynes book.
I'm trying to learn it. Electric diagrams are not easy for me.
Lot of things are super confusing to me.
