Heater box loom pictures request

Hi all, I am trying to sort out a few random wires under the dash of my newly purchased 16v mk1. The fan doesn't work and I noticed a few cut/joined wires so I am in the process of rejoining them with solder. The brown wires out of the heater box ix just dangling down. I think I can see where it should be but can someone share a picture of it. Also the lighter circuit. Where does that connection go?

Thanks, its a mk1 gti with a kr engine conversion. It's an early 80s car

Wiring colors and stuff changed between years so know the specific year would narrow the searching…  As there was a change to the Dash and switches….

Some switch Positive, and some switch negative and have a ballast or speed resistor that screws in to the heater box…

So more information is required that you left out.
