Not working

Hi people, need help please. My head lights and high beam aren't working. They was working before then I had my car mapped and now they don't work. I've used the side lights wiring to check if the bulbs are good and they worked fine. I've checked a few other things but can't seem to find anything. Please help driving me crazy.

Year and Model would be nice.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

1983 it's 1.8 gti fuse box. Do you know if the headlights should have a relay?

No, they have the headlight switch going to 4 fuses 2 high, 2 low.

Relaying your headlights will be the best upgrade you can do.

What colour wire go to the back of the fuse box? And what colour clips will they be in. Becuse it must be a bad connection or something. Some how.because I've bought a new switch. My side lights work just no flash, high beam or low beam.

Don't have a Euro spec haynes or bentley.

But the typical circuit is that power to feed comes from the headlight switch over to the flasher then over to the high and lows.

The intermittent flash comes straight from the 30 circuit.

If you don't have flash either side then look for power issue.

But verify that you have good grounds first and that your bulbs are good.

85 scirocco.
