GTI coil wiring

Can someone tell me if this is plugged in the correct way round for a 1982 DX GTI engine?

I had it the other way round before same as my 8v K jet mk2 but after having problems getting the engine to run I did a bit of googling and found that it should be this way round? but it still wont run and now I'm more confused than before.

Green and red/black wires to the +ve and the two black wires to the -ve side?

It doesn't matter because if you look under it you should see two spade connectors joined to the same contact pin.  Either one is live or the other is.
