Add a ground splice from Frame behind the cluster to the connector side of the cluster pin 2 brown.
Plumping the connectors using 1 strip of electrical tape on the pad side of the Tongue of the connector, you have to remove the shroud off the connection, then carefully lift the mylar place the tape and reverse.
Some one soaked their Star connector in a Rust eater stuff they bought at a hardware store, it was about 2 times stronger than Vinegar.
Only took about 2 hours and it was amazingly clean and renewed.
Never underestimate the corrosion between different metals…. Steel Ground point, aluminum or copper amp connectors, and pass a tad of current through it for good measure…..in as little as 3 years it can look like that, add a water leak and presto you have what you are seeing.
Besure to test the bulbs as to the polarity with a 9v Battery so you can then find which side of the lamp connector is 12v and ground…
Oh be sure that you have your headlights on and verify that the gray/blue wire has voltage as that wire likes to get fried and short out other wires…

You can remove the Bulb and replace it with a tiny super bright led and resistor 700ohm soldered on the emitter to the Ground pin (brown) wire ide and the +12Side to the collector of the led.
I did that years ago to the Headlight switch and the Ciggie lighter, and even the bulb in the Ash Tray.
