Hooter not working

So…i removed the steering wheel to see why hooter only works when i turn the steering wheel, and found a broken contact. Any suggestions on how to fix?

you'll need to repalce the stalk or pull the tab out of a donor stalk. its connected directly to the pin inside the socket on the back, so you can push it out from behind

alternatively with care you may be able to pull the tab up at the left and bend the snapped end down to replicate the old tab shape perhaps. may have to trim it further as it may poke to far inwards where it goes round the screw hole

Thanks for your help. I did as you said; lift and bend, and working again. Hopefully it will last…
