Tintop sills

I am looking at getting my rusty sills replaced. Ideally I would like to find someone cutting up a shell that has good sills that I could use as replacements. I have looked at pattern parts but cannot find replacements with a swage line. Does anyone know of a manufacturer that does quality parts that have the swage line along the sill.

Think the only aftermarket sills you can get don't have the swage line. I had swage lines put in mine by Retropower - http://www.retropower.co.uk/index.html
You could see if they could do you a pair and post out to you? Think they still have the tooling from mine.

Thanks for that info. Just checked out their website and they are only a few miles from me so I will ring them next week. I trust you were pleased with the work done on your car - I may get a quote to get my work done by them as I am looking for someone to fit these sills.

Very pleased, they still have my shell there atm as it's just been painted. I'm sure they'd let you have a look at the sills on it to see how they've come out.

Just been to see the guys at Retro power. Absolutely superb work and your shell is looking amazing. Just be careful when you start to reassemble it!
