Hey guys.
I'd like to improve the security of my little old mk1 and thought a snap off wheel might be a good addition to anti theft but I can't for the life of me figure out what matching parts I need and it seems nobody sells a simple kit of matching parts?
Does anyone know what fits and where to find it? Please..

Fit steering wheel boss kit to suit your car (most are 6x70mm pcd to suit the majority of aftermarket steering wheels out there) - this is the important kit to suit your car.
Then fit the universal quick release kit (Momo, NRG etc), then fit your uninversal steering wheel (make sure that's 6x70mm pcd as well).
Note: only a few steering wheels are not 6x70 so would need their own specialist boss kit

Just a word of warning, and it IS your personal decision what you do with your car but when I was at GTI International (yeah a few years ago) I saw a SEAT Ibiza with a removable steering wheel swerve across the 1/4 mile strip and into the barriers and crowd…. Apparently the steering wheel came off. 😬😬😬
It may just be easier and safer to use a Disklok, after all, what do you do with the wheel once you've taken it off when you go shopping??!! 😆😳
Disklok UK
Does that make me sound dead old??!!

I've had mine for 20 years and it's scratched to pieces but just as robust. They are bulky but the intention is to put would-be thieves off so they go elsewhere. Job done! ✅
