New sills are on the shell, door gap still needs slight work but am happy with it overall.
One thing that I'm not happy with is the swage line on the repro sill, the shell has the original swage line but then when it joins into the sill there's a slight line but it's really not the same.
What have people done to bring out this line on the sill?
Thanks

I would suspect that you need to trim it to fit prior to welding, or use a BFH and a block to smack it into submission. I had a similar issue on a frame repair, that I didn't catch until after it was welded…. and I mounted the door……..

Yeah we'll make sure the door is lined up perfect when the welding is finished.
I'm more on about how the swage line is more prominent the closer to the rear arch and less so on the sill as the sill is repro and the swage line is original. Just want to bring that out so it's as prominent as the original line?

Would lead work well? Had a chat with the guy doing my metal work and he said it might be worth trying it.

Lead? Haven't seen that since my Dad taught me @ 5yrs watching him do lead work on a Model T Ford… Lead heat beeswax, and a wooden paddle… back before bondo… does that age me?
